Ed Batista

Executive Coach

Executive coach and lecturer at Stanford Graduate School of Business. He teaches self-management, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

Batista has worked as both a manager and a coach. Before he began to coach, he spent fifteen years in management. He also helped start three groups. He has an MBA from Stanford and a history degree from Brown. [1]

At Stanford’s business school, he helped start two leadership programs in 2007. For ten years, he coached students and led teams there. He also spent ten years guiding T-groups in a course on how people relate. [1]

In 2015, Batista made The Art of Self-Coaching. [1]

This record makes him a strong guide to self-rule and feedback. He has run groups, coached leaders, and taught the same skills for years. His record says less about firm design or labor. It shows deep practice, not peer-reviewed tests of his coaching. [1]
